Insurance: We are currently in-network with Aetna, Cigna, BlueCrossBlueShield (Anthem and Highmark), CDPHP, NYSHIP, United and a few Fidelis plans however many insurance companies provide out-of-network coverage as well for acupuncture. We will be happy to have our insurance biller check into your benefit coverage for you. Please allow 2-3 days before your initial visit for us to check. Insurance currently only covers Acupuncture visits.

Medicare: Standard government Medicare plans will NOT cover acupuncture. While Medicare did add acupuncture services to their plans they did not allow acupuncturists as medicare providers which means they will only cover acupuncture if an MD is present in the room to supervise. Some supplement plans will follow their own network rules and cover acupuncture but benefits need to be checked. When calling a supplement plan to inquire about benefits it is important to ask if they "follow medicare guidelines which require MD supervision".

Cancellations: Schedule your appointment carefully, at a time convenient for you. If it is necessary for you to change your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. If you cancel on the same day or do not show for your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the fee. Cancellation fees are not covered by insurance.

Intake Forms: If this is your first time to our office (or if you haven't been here in over a year). Please download these forms, fill them out at home and bring them with you to your appointment. If you can't print them out before hand make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment.
